Job Description
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Manual, Automation, functional, regression, integration, and web application testing.
- Prepare and execute test cases and identify, report, and retest defects.
- Perform strong database testing and data validation using MySQL.
- Write and execute SQL queries to verify application data and business logic.
- Validate data accuracy, relationships, transactions, reports, and application results.
- Investigate and troubleshoot database/data-related issues.
- Work with developers to identify root causes and resolve defects.
- Perform backend validation, release testing, and regression testing.
- Maintain test documentation and coordinate with technical teams for timely issue resolution.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in MySQL and SQL is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of database testing, data validation, and database concepts.
- Good understanding of JOINs, subqueries, GROUP BY, HAVING, and aggregate functions.
- Strong Manual, Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing skills.
- Experience in web application testing and defect tracking.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of API testing/Postman and Jira will be an added advantage.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Candidates with a relevant technical degree and strong hands-on development experience will also be considered.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
